Life is all about image. However, the question that we all have to face is which image we should project? What if the various images being projected simply do not live up to the image we are meant to bear as human beings? Is there an image that all human beings are supposed to bear?
At Image Church, our answer is a resounding yes! We believe that human beings are God’s unique image-bearers. Which is why everyone, to some extent or another, is consumed with image. The problem is that apart from God we project faulty, broken images of ourselves inwardly and outwardly. And this is consequently why we live in a broken world. The good news is that Jesus of Nazareth, who is the image of God, lived, died, and rose again, so that we may begin to display the image we were made for. As a church, we hope to bear this image as a community.
Image Church is a community of people who have been brought together by the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Our purpose is to continually be transformed by the reality of Christ in order to better love and serve our neighbors as witness to his imminent return.
We worship, because it is God alone who saves. We pray, because it is by grace alone that we are made right with God. We teach, because we believe in a God who speaks. We serve, because we believe that it was God, in Christ, who first served us.
